Fajr Film Festival 2020: photos of 5th day

Three films have been screened on the fifth day of the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Tehran.

The films which received screenings on Wednesday are ‘Day of Uprising’ by Behrouz Shoeibi, Peyman Qasemkhani’s ‘The Good, the Bad, the Corny 2: The Secret Army’, and 'Bone Marrow' directed by Hamidreza Qorbani.

Three separate news conferences were also held for the movies on Wednesday, in the cast and crew attendance.

The 38th edition of the Fajr Film Festival kicked off on Saturday and will run until February 11 in Tehran.

The Fajr Film Festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn) ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran every year.

The international version of the festival will be held in April 2020.
